Planning with the Retro Chic Kit
Hello Happie Scrappie planner friends!
The August Retro Chic kit is pretty amazing! I love the colors and was so inspired to get my personal size planner ready for the week – here’s how I did it.
This kit has everything you need to decorate your planner and I do mean everything!
The first thing I did was lay down some washi tape because the colors are beautiful and muted – I like my planner to look pretty clean with plenty of room to write and this skinny washi is perfect. Then I added an adorable sloth sticker to the top of the page. It looks like it’s just hanging out and it brings a smile to my face. Next the typewriter sticker and the telephone go down. There are so many cute stickers and I want to use them all! There’s even a cassette tape – do you remember those? I use the icon stickers (my new favorite thing) to note days when those tasks have to happen, like chores or errands. For a finishing touch, I added a little motivational sticker to the top of the second page. Stay curious – life will never be boring.
I have a magnet page marker to use in my planner which came in the kit and I love it! A retro typewriter which matches the stickers! The last thing I did was laminate the typewriter page marker which is lined. It will be handy to use on the go for lists and I can reuse it since it’s laminated.
I have stickers left over to use in my Erin Condren planner which I’m can’t wait to do. This week in my personal size planner is so cute I’m excited to use it!
